At Kattil.com, we take pride in delivering high-quality traditional rope beds (kattil) across India. Every product is carefully handcrafted and inspected before dispatch.

Please read our Refund & Returns Policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged during transit
  • You received a wrong product
  • There is a manufacturing defect

To be eligible for a return:

  • Request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
  • Product must be unused and in original condition
  • Must include original packaging and accessories
  • Clear unboxing video & photos are mandatory

👉 Note: Handmade wooden and rope beds may have slight variations in color, size, or weaving pattern — these are not considered defects.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, the following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized / made-to-order kattils (size, wood, rope customization)
  • Products with minor natural variations
  • Items used, damaged after delivery, or altered
  • Orders rejected at delivery (COD refusal)
  • Bulk or commercial orders

👉 Custom products are non-returnable except for genuine defects.


3. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us via:
  2. Share:
    • Order ID
    • Issue description
    • Unboxing video & images
  3. After verification:
    • We will arrange reverse pickup (if serviceable)
    • Or ask you to self-ship the product

👉 Return requests without proof may not be accepted.


4. Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed only after:

  • Product is received and inspected
  • Approved under return conditions

Refund Mode:

  • Prepaid Orders → Refunded to original payment method
  • COD Orders → Refund via bank transfer or store credit

Timeline:

  • Refund initiated within 3–7 working days
  • Bank processing may take 5–10 business days

👉 Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the product is defective.


5. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing
  • Once shipped, cancellation is not possible
  • If refused at delivery, shipping & handling charges will be deducted

6. Replacement Policy

We offer replacement instead of refund in cases of:

  • Transit damage
  • Wrong item delivered
  • Manufacturing defects

If replacement is not available:

  • Full refund or store credit will be issued

7. Return Shipping Charges

  • Free for damaged / defective / wrong product
  • Customer pays for returns due to personal reasons (if accepted)

8. Important Notes

  • Kattil is a bulky handcrafted product, so slight:
    • Size variation (±1–2 inches)
    • Color difference
    • Rope tightness variation
      are natural and not defects.
  • Ensure correct delivery address & contact details
  • Failed delivery attempts may lead to extra charges
